New Laptop - Uusi läppäri

I got a new laptop this week!

Well, technically, it's not new-new. I bought it used, and it's rather a senior citizen for a laptop, but for me, it's new. It's all pretty with a black cover, especially now that I stuck some silver butterflies on it, and my empirical tests have confirmed that the promised 2 hours of battery life do indeed hold true. Also, the first thing I did after getting the 'net connection to work was to install Scrivener. (I'm addicted to Scrivener nowadays. I write everything on it. Yes, even this.) Obviously this means I've gotten a ton of writing done, right?

Uusi vuosi, uudet kujeet. Oi voi.

Olen viimeisen puolisen vuotta leikitellyt nuortenkirjallisuuden ajatuksella. Kosken itse ole lukenut nuortenkirjoja vähään aikaan, tähän on tietysti liittynyt alan nykytilan tarkastelua. Tästä syystä lainasin jokin aika sitten Derek Landyn Keplo Leutokalma –sarjan ensimmäisen osan kirjastosta. Koska olin kuullut kirjasta hyvää, odotin varsin miellyttävää lukukokemusta.

Harvoin olen niin pettynyt.
